LinkedIn profile that recruiters find
Recruiters do not read LinkedIn profiles — they search them. Your profile has to be built for the search box first.
The headline is a search field
The default headline ("Engineer at Company") wastes your most searchable line. Instead: role plus stack plus remote intent — for example "Customer Support Lead | Zendesk, Intercom | Remote, EST". Those words are exactly what recruiter filters query.
About and experience
Your About section is three short paragraphs: what you do, proof (numbers), and what you are looking for. In Experience, keep bullets achievement-shaped. Recruiters skim; make the first line of each role count.
Frequently asked questions
Do "Open to Work" settings hurt?
No — hidden from your current employer by default, visible only to recruiters. It measurably increases inbound.
